Privacy notice

Written in plain English, because a privacy notice nobody can read isn’t much of a notice.

Who is responsible for your information

TUDOR NARCIS-DANIEL PERSOANĂ FIZICĂ AUTORIZATĂ, trading as Tudor Associates, is the data controller.

Unique Registration Code (CUI): 50251068

What this website collects

This website has no contact form, no sign up, no login and no shopping basket. It does not place cookies on your device and it does not track you between websites.

I use a privacy focused analytics tool to count page views so that I know whether anybody is reading this. It does not use cookies and it does not build a profile of you. What I see is aggregated: how many people visited, which pages, roughly which country, and which link sent them. I cannot identify you from it.

The fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from Google’s servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. If you would rather that did not happen, a browser extension that blocks third party requests will stop it, and the site will still work.

If you email me

When you write to me, I receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you choose to tell me. I use that to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to do the work.

The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering people who contact my business, and, once we agree to work together, the performance of our contract.

If you send me a web page, your ad copy, your prices or anything else about your business, I treat it as confidential. I do not publish client work, quote it, or use it as an example anywhere without asking you first.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted within twelve months. Records relating to actual paid work are kept for as long as Romanian accounting and tax law requires me to keep them, which is currently ten years for accounting documents.

Who else sees it

Only the services that make the business run, and only the parts they need:

  • My email provider, which stores my mailbox.
  • My website host, which serves these pages.
  • My analytics provider, which receives the aggregated page view data described above.
  • My accountant and the Romanian tax authority, where the law requires it, for invoices and accounting records.

I do not sell your information, I do not share it for advertising, and I do not add you to any mailing list. If you write to me once, you will hear back from me and then nothing further unless you reply.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask me to show you what I hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict what I do with it, or send it to you in a portable form. You can also object to my processing it. Write to daniel@tudorassociates.com and I will answer within thirty days, usually a lot sooner.

If you think I have handled your information badly and I have not put it right, you can complain to the Romanian supervisory authority, the Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), in Bucharest.
